Hi, I am Fran. I am 27, live in Guadalajara, Mexico and work as a teacher of English as a Foreign Language. I graduated in 2009 with a 1st Class degree in Physiotherapy from King's College London and am currently studying for an MSc in Epidemiology through the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. I have a wealth of experience proof-reading and editing texts written by speakers of English as a second language and my particular area of expertise is scientific or medical writing.
My name is Joel and I'm originally from Texas in the United States. I studied engineering (BS) and government (BA) at the University of Texas. I did my PhD work at the University of Cambridge. I am a skilled writer and editor of both technical and non-technical documents.
I am currently a PhD student at the University of Cambridge studying surgery (medicine) under a full NIH Doctoral Fellowship. I specialize in using induced pluripotent stem cells as an ameliorative therapy to reverse liver fibrosis of multiple etiologies. I have a strong background in engineering, mathematics, and biochemistry and integrate my expertise in those areas to address some of the challenges currently confronting the medical field.
