Hello! My name is Elizabeth, and I am one of ZHISHIQ's Senior Advisors. I am also a PhD candidate at the University of Oxford, and hold degrees in Theology, Literature, Philosophy & Science Studies, and English. I have a lot of editing and writing experience having worked as a freelance proofreader for a number of years and translated several books for an academic publishing house and various higher education institutions. I also have broad experience of writing successful academic applications to top universities at all levels of higher education.If you have any questions or queries, please feel free to message me. 自我介绍
I'm a PhD candidate at the University Oxford. I gained a First in my BA degree from Roskilde University where I double-majored in Philosophy and English. Among other things I undertook in-depth study of English Language, Grammar, and Writing. I then completed an MSt. in Literature and Arts and later an MPhil in Theology both at University of Oxford, gaining Distinction overall. I have worked as a proofreader and translator for a number of publishing houses and academic institutions for many years, and I co-founded and edited a Philosophy journal during my undergraduate degree. I therefore have a lot of experience with editing, proof-reading, and writing. I especially have experience with writing applications for graduate programmes, scholarships, jobs as well as CVs and general academic writing, such as articles, essays, theses, and dissertations. I have also mentored and advised a number of students applying to higher education.
